The operation, conducted by security forces, resulted in the elimination of 10 militants, according to the military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Security forces launched the IBO following intelligence reports regarding the presence of militants in the area. During the operation, Pakistani troops effectively engaged the terrorists, leading to their neutralization. However, in the fierce exchange of fire, 24-year-old Captain Hasnain Akhtar, hailing from Jhelum, made the ultimate sacrifice while courageously leading his team.

ISPR described Captain Hasnain as a valiant officer known for his bravery and decisive actions in previous missions. The operation also led to the recovery of weapons and ammunition from the slain militants, who were reportedly involved in multiple terrorist attacks against law enforcement agencies and civilians.

Following the successful mission, a sanitization operation is underway to ensure the complete elimination of any remaining threats in the region. Pakistan’s security forces remain resolute in their fight against terrorism, with the sacrifices of brave soldiers further strengthening their determination to restore peace and stability in the country.
