Pakistan Fined for Slow Over-Rate in First ODI Against New Zealand

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has imposed a fine on Pakistan for maintaining a slow over-rate during the first ODI against New Zealand. The match officials ruled that Pakistan fell short of the required over-rate, leading to the penalty under ICC regulations.

As per the ICC’s code of conduct, the team was fined a percentage of their match fees for each over they failed to complete in the allotted time. Skipper and team management have been advised to ensure better time management in upcoming matches to avoid further sanctions.

The series between Pakistan and New Zealand remains highly competitive, with fans eagerly watching how both teams perform in the remaining matches.
