Protests Intensify in Sindh and Balochistan Against Enforced Disappearances

Karachi/Quetta: Protests have escalated across Sindh and Balochistan against enforced disappearances, with activists, students, and civil society members demanding the immediate release of Dr. Mahrang Baloch, Samideen Baloch, and other missing persons.

Demonstrators claim that the people of Sindh and Balochistan have long suffered state oppression, but the recent surge in abductions has intensified their struggle. They assert that the movement for the recovery of missing persons has gained irreversible momentum and that history will remember those who resisted injustice.

Drawing parallels to the events of 1971 in Bangladesh, protestors warn that such oppressive tactics have led to dire consequences in the past. Human rights organizations have also voiced their concerns over the rising cases of enforced disappearances and urged the government to uphold fundamental human rights.

Protestors from Balochistan and Sindh vow to continue their resistance, stating that no force can now suppress their demand for justice.
