Three New Ministers Sworn In as Federal Cabinet Expands

Islamabad – March 14, 2025: The federal cabinet of Pakistan has expanded further with the induction of three new ministers. The swearing-in ceremony was held at Aiwan-e-Sadr, where Acting President Yousaf Raza Gillani administered the oath to the newly appointed officials.

The latest additions to the cabinet include Syed Imran Ahmed Shah, who has taken charge as the Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety. Dr. Shizra Mansab Ali Khan has been appointed as the Minister of State for Climate Change, while Chaudhry Armaghan Subhani has assumed the role of Minister of State for Planning and Development.

With these new appointments, the federal cabinet now consists of 31 federal ministers, 11 ministers of state, four advisers, and eight special assistants. The expansion is aimed at strengthening governance by addressing key areas such as poverty reduction, environmental policies, and national development planning.

This move is part of the government’s strategy to ensure a more efficient administration by assigning specialized roles to tackle pressing national challenges.
